Southern Parts & Equipment have been in business since 1988 providing Locomotives, Rail Cars and Parts to the Railroad Industry.
Southern parts and Equipment was founded in 1988 by Becky and Walter Couch. Becky serves as president and CEO and Walter serves as Sales Manager. Because of our commitment to providing the best possible service and to using only the best installers, we have been able to expand our service area to include not only the southern states, but the entire USA as well.
Southern Parts & Equipment sells new, used and reconditioned railcar parts as well as offering other equipment to the railroad industry. We use only AAR certified facilities for our suppliers. We offer sales, service and leasing of new and used locomotives, railcars and machinery for the railroad industry, including heavy equipment for the construction and maintenance to the track industry. We also offer railcar inspections and consulting.
